World Book Day

We were delighted to see such enthusiasm from our pupils during our recent World Book Day celebrations.

The day was a fantastic opportunity for the children to engage with literature through a range of creative projects.

The Otters class built 3D story boxes to visualise key scenes from their reading, while the Owls class composed original soundtracks to accompany their chosen books. The Hedgehogs class designed their own unique book covers, and the Ladybirds class created handmade bookmarks and Gruffalo masks using paper plates.

The day concluded with a whole-school assembly, which featured a parade of literary-themed costumes. It was a wonderful way for the children to celebrate their favourite characters and share their love of reading with their peers.
