Science Project: Volcano Eruption
A group of children successfully built and erupted a papier-mâché volcano this week. After constructing the model, the students painted it before preparing the final experiment.
To simulate the eruption, the group used a mixture of bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. This hands-on activity helped the children understand how pressure builds up to create a volcanic eruption, resulting in a successful lava flow.
