Year 5 London Residential Trip

A group of our Year 5's are having a wonderful time in our Capital City!

Our incredible London adventure began with a sprinkle of wizarding magic at the Harry Potter Studio Tour, where we stepped through the giant doors of the Great Hall and explored the secrets of the Forbidden Forest. On our second day, we visited the grand Houses of Parliament and took a flight on the London Eye to see the famous landmarks of the city stretching out beneath us, before enjoying a spectacular evening performance of Hercules the Musical. Today, we have been busy braving the Tower of London to see the sparkling Crown Jewels and meeting the amazing animals at London Zoo. Throughout the busy city bustle, all eleven of our Year 5 explorers have been exceptionally well-behaved, representing our school with wonderful manners and kindness.

Tonight, we are looking forward to seeing the beautiful city lights glowing in the dark from the top of a red night bus. Our final morning tomorrow will see us heading toward home, but not before one last stop at the STEAM Museum in Swindon to climb aboard giant locomotives and learn about the history of the railway. We are coming home with tired feet, big smiles, and enough magical memories to last a lifetime. The teachers are incredibly proud of how every child has looked after one another and stayed so positive during our big adventure!
