Hedgehogs have started their festive activities this week and have recorded their sentences based on the Grinch. They listened to the story about the Grinch, talked about the Grinch, and came up with a character description for him.  It was great to see the children putting into practice their capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. It was also clear to see that the children were more independent with their writing and were able to read each word out loud. They then had a go at drawing their own illustration of the Grinch.

The children were delighted to open up our class present from the PTA and they made their beautiful crafts to take home. 

The children have learned about 'Being Safe and Speaking Out' this week and the children now have a clear understanding of speaking to a trusted adult if something is ever 'not okay'.

The children enjoyed watching the Ladybirds perform their Nativity Play this morning and talked about their favourite part. Well done to everyone for their hard work in our Christmas Play performances.
