A group of our children had a wonderful time recently visiting Lilcott Farm in Atherington. It was a truly hands-on experience where the children got stuck into farm life, helping to look after the animals and exploring the poly tunnels. They learned all about where our food comes from by planting their own seeds and harvesting some fresh fruit and vegetables. They even rolled up their sleeves to dig over the beds, preparing the soil ready for the next round of planting. It was a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors and learn some valuable new skills!
