The trip to Bath last week was a fantastic experience for the class. We enjoyed an archaeology workshop as well as a tour around the Roman Baths and the Roman Baths museum. It was a long day for the children but their behaviour and resilience were extraordinary. We all learned something new about the Romans in Britain and had the opportunity to see and handle genuine artefacts close up. The timing of the trip right in the middle of our Roman topic was perfect. We would like to thank parents and the Friends of Beaford for supporting the children to make this trip possible for us all.
