On Wednesday 6th March 2024, we hosted our second annual PE Forest School event at Umberleigh Academy. The day was designed to provide our SEND and Pupil Premium children with an opportunity to collaborate and compete with other children across our Trust. Over 60 children from across our TEAM schools rotated around 3 activities throughout the morning. The first activity was a map reading activity where the children had to use navigation skills to guide their team through different routes. Then the children had to guide their teammates through a blind folded course and neutralise nuclear waste by hooking plastic reactors. Finally, the teams made wormeries using natural resources. It was a wonderful opportunity for so many of our children to make new friends whilst developing physical and social skills.
