Teaching Assistant - Temporary Fixed Term for 1 Year

16.25 hours per week (9.00am – 12.15pm Monday – Friday term time only)

£18426 - £19171 pro rata

Start Date: 2nd September 2019

We are seeking to appoint a flexible, reflective practitioner to support learning in our Upper Key Stage 2 class. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teacher both 1:1 and in small groups to support and encourage thinking and learning. Experience of supporting children with SEND and a good understanding of the primary curriculum would be an advantage.

An understanding of principles of effective learning, a reflective but dynamic approach, good communication skills and a passion for making a difference for all children are essential requirements for this post.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
